Good Riddance

Mom was a divorcée before she met my father. It was a very violent relationship, one so horrible I was never told about it. Since I research for a living, it wasn’t long before I had his name and life story. Barney Cutler abandoned a wife and child for my mom’s best friend, eventually leaving her for mom. Although he was much older, he died only a couple of years before she did, at the end of what I hope was a lonely and miserable life.
